Mr. Vargas holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, a MBA in Operations and certifications in TQM, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Lean and Lean Six Sigma.

He is an active contributing member of: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), The Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), American Society for Quality (ASQ) and has served on a variety of boards.
